Yellow Candle 2025, an annual project led by Maccabi GB, pays tribute to the 6 million Jews murdered during the Holocaust, uniting communities in remembrance.
On Wednesday 23rd April, Yellow Candles were lit, serving as a powerful reminder to never forget one of the darkest chapters in history.
Each Yellow Candle comes with a biographical card, sharing – where known – the name, age, place of birth and death of a Holocaust victim. By lighting a candle, we honour their memory and ensure their stories continue to be told, strengthening our collective commitment to remembrance and resilience.
