As summer draws to a close, tenants gathered around tables draped in red-and-white checkered tablecloths to soak up the sun, share delicious food and enjoy the warmth of the community spirit.
“This has become a real tradition,” said Senior Housing Manager, Gabriela, who co-organised the event. “It’s more than just burgers and hot dogs—it’s a way to bring neighbours together and enjoy the last of the warmer weather”
The menu—lovingly prepared by Gabriela and Housing Manager Adriana—offered something for everyone. From sizzling kosher sausages and juicy burgers to colourful salads and refreshing drinks, the spread was a hit with tenants of all ages and a selection of desserts added a sweet finish to the afternoon.
Laughter and conversation filled the garden as neighbours caught up after busy summers and the relaxing hum of late summer filled the air.
“This is what Harmony Close events are all about,” Adriana explained. “Good food, good people, and a real sense of community.”
