Celebrating the Coronation In Willesden

Tenants at Young Court had their very own concert on Sunday to honour the Coronation of King Charles III and Queen Camilla.

Tenants dressed up wearing red, white and blue along with their very own crowns and Union Jack hats and clothes last weekend.

A lot of effort went into the planning and organising of the event by the tenant’s Social Committee who also did a fabulous job of decorating the room with bunting, flags and balloons – the communal lounge looked wonderfully patriotic.

Food was plentiful, with the most amazing Coronation cake, and an entertainer came to get everyone in the party mood – there was plenty of singing and dancing.

Housing Manager, Maria said of the event: “We had over 40 people at the party,  some were family and friends of tenants, it was all organised by the Social Committee who worked very hard to organise the event – everyone had a great time – it really was a party fit for a king!”

Thank you to the Social Committee for ‘making it happen’ – organising and delivering such a wonderful event to mark this momentous occasion.
