If you’re looking for something thought-provoking and inspiring to do this August, why not visit Ben Uri Gallery and Museum in North London? Their current exhibition, Disruptors: Fractured Images and Migrants’ Wordl, explores the experiences of refugee artists who rebuilt their lives after fleeing war and persecution.

The title Wordl is an intentional blend of word and world, reflecting how these artists had to adapt not only to a new country but also to a new language. Through painting, sculpture and other media, the exhibition captures the challenges, resilience and creativity that shaped their experiences of migration.

Visitors can explore works by artists including Gustav Metzger, Samuel (Shmuel) Dresner, Alfred Lomnitz, Hugo Dachinger and others, each offering a unique perspective on displacement, identity and belonging; artisically capturing the experience of migration.

The gallery is located at 108A Boundary Road, London NW8 0RH (off Abbey Road). The exhibition is open Wednesday to Friday, 10.00 am to 5.30 pm, and runs until 4 September.
