Maitland Joseph House Tenants Enjoy 60th Anniversary Barbecue

Tenants at Maitland Joseph House came together to celebrate jLiving’s 60th anniversary with a wonderful kosher barbecue in the Scheme’s beautiful gardens.

Around 20 tenants attended the event, which was organised by Housing Manager Manoj, with support from Senior Housing Manager Biljana and Allocations and Lettings Officer Barbara. Maintenance Technician Ricky and Plumber Sean also helped prepare the barbecue, ensuring everything was ready for a successful afternoon.

Guests enjoyed a delicious kosher menu with vegetarian options, while many tenants also contributed drinks to the celebration. The afternoon provided a great opportunity for everyone to relax, socialise and enjoy the sunshine together.

Senior Housing Manager Biljana said: “Tenants really enjoyed themselves and were very happy with the event. They enjoyed a relaxed afternoon of delicious food, conversation and sunshine, making the most of the wonderful outdoor setting.”

The barbecue was one of a series of events taking place across jLiving’s Schemes to celebrate the Association’s 60th anniversary.
