Shine House Tenants Gather for Heartwarming Succot Tea Party
Tenants at Shine House recently came together for a delightful Succot Tea Party held in the communal lounge. The event brought neighbours together for an afternoon filled with laughter, conversation, and a delicious spread of treats. 
They enjoyed a selection of fresh sandwiches, vibrant fruit platters, and, of course, plenty of hot tea to go around. Housing Manager Tanja, who organised the event, made sure everyone felt welcome and at ease, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere.
“It was such a nice way to spend time with everyone who came,” said Tanja. “The sandwiches and cake went down well — and it’s always nice to have some fresh fruit with a cup of tea.”
The gathering began on a thoughtful note, as one of the tenants, Herbie, shared a few words in remembrance of the victims of the Manchester attack. His heartfelt message set a reflective tone before the celebrations began.
“Tenants had a lovely time,” Tanja added. “It was a great chance to celebrate the season and build lasting memories together.”
