Our team

Benjamin was a Board member from 2013 to 2022 and is a trustee of the JBGHT charity.

Benjamin has 40 years’ experience in real estate management and has been actively involved in several community organisations.

Eric graduated from the University of London in 1965 and has more than 55 years’ experience in dealing with the management, valuation, sale and letting of residential and commercial property.

He is an Honorary Life President of jLiving following 19 years as jLiving Chair, and before that he was a Board Member of Jewish Care. He is now a Trustee for JBG Housing Trust.

Retired after 50 years with a well-known firm of Chartered Surveyors, Peter served as Vice Chair of jLiving for yearly 20 years and is now a Trustee of JBG Housing Trust.  He was for many years on the Council of his synagogue and now enjoys his eight grandchildren, the garden, and is a volunteer at Hammerson House.

A former housing professional, Sara has over 30 years of senior management experience in the public sector and not for profit organisations. Sara was the Chief Executive of jLiving until 2015 and was elected to the Board in 2020. Sara also serves on the Housing Operations Subcommittee and is a trustee of the JBG Housing Trust. Sara stepped down from the Board in June 2024.

Tajul has a wealth of experience having worked in a range of sectors. He joined the Association in 2022 overseeing Finance, Payroll and IT and became Deputy Chief Executive in July 2023.

Tajul leads an established team of three, focused on providing a smooth running and efficient finance operation. He is also the executive lead in supporting the Associations Property and Finance & Audit Subcommittee, as well as the JBG Housing Trust (a separate charity) supporting the services provided by jLiving.
