Our team

Ann started at jLiving  in June 2022 as the Housing Manager at Shine House (Mondays – Wednesdays).

She oversees the day-to-day running of the Scheme and supports the tenants. Previously, Ann worked for the NHS in Estates, Facilities and Accommodations for 19 years.

Barbara has been a PA for over 20 years and joined jLiving in 2018. Currently, she is PA to Jane Goodman, CE and Lettings Co-Ordinator.

Biljana joined the jLiving team in 2009, with 20 years of experience in Health and Social Care. She is responsible for looking after tenants’ wellbeing and welfare. She has been part of the jLiving Housing Operations Team for over five years. She was promoted to Senior Housing Manager in May 2023.

Since she joined jLiving she has helped tenants to successfully apply for a wide range of benefits and social funds in order to assist them with moving into their desired accommodation. She also assists tenants in clearing their rent arrears. She has a BSc Psychology (Hons) degree and is a great lover of cats.

Housing Manager Maitland Joseph House

Cynthia joined jLiving in May 2019 as a Housing Manager. Her role is to ensure the wellbeing of tenants, raise repairs and carry out health and safety checks of the building. The role is varied and rewarding; no two days are the same and she brings to the role around 30 years’ experience of working with the elderly, vulnerable and disabled in a variety of roles most recently in the sheltered housing sector.

Elaine joined jLiving in May 2023 as Housing Manager at Montefiore Court with a wealth of experience in Housing and great enthusiasm.

Housing Manager at Harmony Close, Meta Worms Court and The Hostel, also known as 99PPA

Gabriela joined jLiving in May 2015. She worked in various Schemes during this time and has been Housing Manager at Harmony Close since 2018. In July 2022 she was promoted to Senior Housing Manager.

She sees her job as to work closely with the tenants to monitor their wellbeing and provide secure independent housing for them. She also submits referrals to other services in order to arrange extra support for the tenants that need extra care but are still able to stay in an independent housing environment.

Housing Manager at Lionel Leighton Court and Wolfson Court

Jackie has been with jLiving since 2019 and has worked in the care sector for 30 years with experience in hospitals and day centres. She liaises with tenants regarding any day-to-day decisions and arranges entertainment within the Scheme when appropriate. 

Joseph joined jLiving in December 2022. He is Housing Manager at Daniel Court.

Housing Manager at South Lodge 

Jocelyn joined jLiving in July 2017. Her main responsibilities include providing, organising and monitoring services for tenants, communicating with other staff and attending team meetings, carrying out management and administrative duties and ensuring health and safety in the Scheme.

Housing Manager at Lionel Leighton Court and Wolfson Court

Joseph has been with jLiving for 15 years, working alongside tenants in promoting independence and achieving a lifestyle that best suits their abilities, while handling the ever-growing administration obligations of modern day sheltered housing.

Lori joined jLiving in 2015 and was promoted to Head of Housing in December 2022.

Maggie joined jLiving in October 2023 as a part-time Housing Manager In Brighton & Hove.

She oversees the day-to-day running of the Schemes in the area and supports the tenants. Previously, Maggie worked as a therapeutic and health coach, working for the NHS and privately for 20 years.

In her free time Maggie does lots of charity and volunteering work.

Housing Manager at Daniel Court

Maria first started working with jLiving in 2006 at Young Court, at the age of 19. After a short sabbatical travelling, Maria returned to jLiving working as Bank Staff at many Schemes including Harmony Close, Lionel Leighton Court and Wolfson Court gaining lots of experience. 

Since 2018 Maria has been the Housing Manager at Daniel Court, overseeing the day to day running of the building and offering support to tenants.

Housing Manager at The Martins

After working in Social Housing for 12 years, during which time Marjorie gained a wealth of experience in different housing settings, Marjorie joined jLiving in 2004. She is the first point of contact for tenants, in an emergency, monitoring their well-being, liaising on their behalf with outside agencies and relatives, and carrying out assessments for prospective clients to buy a property. 

She sees her role as adapting a neighbourly attitude toward residents, reporting repairs and the general maintenance and upkeep of the building.

Ola S joined jLiving as an Interim Housing Manager in September 2023.

Tanja joined jLiving in January 2023 as Housing Manager at Harmony Close, Meta Worms Court and 99PPA, the student accommodation.

Tim joined the Association as an Interim Housing Manager, and became permanent in January 2022.

Bringing with her around seven years of experience in sheltered accommodation, Tochi joined jLiving in 2014 and became Bank Staff in September 2023.
